This is meant for Licensed Real Estate Agents only in a very particular situation who would like the ability to still help their friends and family with real estate transaction but don’t have the time due to other commitments or endeavors.
Whatever your reason for not being a full time active agent, you can still make money on the side by simply putting your friends and family in capable hands.
Chances are as you go about your daily life you will run into friends, family, or colleagues that are buying or selling property (your circle of influence). The problem is it’s difficult to provide your friends and family with the level of service they need while working full time in another line of work. Rather than let these opportunities pass you by, understand that you have an opportunity to refer your friends and family to a hard-working dedicated agent as well as earn a 30% referral fee.
When you comes across an opportunity from your circle of influence, you have a few options:
If you have never done a real estate referral before, it is SUPER simple.
Step 1) Fill out the referral form available HERE.
Step 2) I will work diligently with your referral to meet their Real Estate goals
Step 3) Upon successful Close of Escrow, your broker will be dispersed a check for 30% of the commissions. ( i.e. $250,000 sale X 3% = $7,500 X 30% = $2,250 check to you)
Do I pay a split on that check?
That depends on your broker. UpTown Realty charges NO splits, E&O, or fees on referrals so you can pocket 100% of the referral fee, so if you want to move your license over, it might save you some money.
Where in the valley do you work?
I work valley-wide. My main stomping grounds are Phoenix, Paradise Valley and Scottsdale, but have worked with buyers and sellers in ALL corners of the valley. I have lived in the valley since 1998, so needless to say, I know my way around.
Why would I send my friends or family to you? I don’t even know you!?
You are right, you don’t know me (yet!) But I would love the opportunity to be a partner with you. As with any service industry, customer satisfaction is the lifeblood of a business. If our clients aren’t satisfied, not only will I never see their business again, I would never see your referrals again. Reputation is EVERYTHING in this business.
I find it absolutely astonishing how many agents have so much business but have such incredibly poor customer service and results. I KNOW I work harder for my clients than anyone I’ve met in the business.

A big team where your referral client doesn’t get individual attention and pushed through the cattle farm. I am the sole operator of my business and wish to keep it that way. Clients have contact with me, all day, every day (of course weekends!). I always respond to emails promptly – none of this 24 hours later stuff! Go ahead, test me 🙂
